New Site Captures How Agency Delivers Results to Building Materials Manufacturers
BLD Marketing has entered 2021 with a newly redesigned website that prominently features the agency’s recently produced brand video on its formula for delivering results to building materials manufacturers (BMMs). Launched in December of 2020, the new site simplifies the user experience and creates an intuitive journey that enables visitors to become familiar with BLD Marketing and its services.
“When we took on the task of updating our website, we went well beyond the necessary house cleaning to ensure it was updated and fresh,” noted Brad Smoak, managing art director at BLD Marketing. “We expanded upon elements that worked well, and we created new experiences to deliver a more complete look at who we are and what we do.”
In January 2020, the agency formerly known as LarsonO’Brien took on the name of BLD Marketing along with a new logo and corporate look. The agency team conducted a website transition at the time of the corporate name change. The revamped website had been in development throughout 2020.
“We knew once our new brand was fully developed that we would be reworking the website design to fully integrate it with our new BLD branding. This was our ultimate goal,” said Garrett Andrae, creative director at BLD Marketing. “The new design is clean, modern, well-organized, easy to navigate, and serves its primary purposes well: To introduce BLD Marketing to prospective clients and employees. It is highly faithful to our brand and representative of our company culture.”
Along with a cleaner navigation and crisper look, the refreshed site serves as the home for a recently completed brand video. Featured on the home page, the light-hearted video tells an easy-to-understand story about how the agency delivers results to its clients in building materials manufacturing. Also featured is the BLD Blog, which is populated by BLD Marketing’s first-hand research and knowledge for stakeholders across the architecture, engineering, design, and construction industries. The site incorporates a new feature to highlight BLD employees. In addition, visitors to the site can also explore the real results that BLD has achieved for building materials brands across its client spectrum as well as research-backed information on key target audiences for BMMs.
