Agency Notches Four Wins, Honorable Mention on Behalf of Five Clients

PITTSBURGH, PA… BLD Marketing, a results-based, digital-first, full-service strategic marketing agency serving the building materials category exclusively throughout North America and abroad, recently received five accolades from the 2025 MarCom Awards, including one platinum, three gold, and one honorable mention.

  • AeroShield: BLD won a platinum award for its work on behalf of startup AeroShield and its new technology that vastly increases thermal performance of windows. BLD developed a user-friendly website for AeroShield that powerfully demonstrates the technology’s application and key benefits, supporting the organization’s introduction of the next-generation material to the building and construction market.
  • LATICRETE: BLD Marketing accepted a gold award for its creative work on behalf of LATICRETE to develop print advertisements targeted to tile contractors, a core audience for the brand. BLD produced a series of impactful print ads that introduced new products with a punchier tone. The two-page center spreads ran in relevant trade publications with fresh, evocative imagery, key product details, and scannable QR codes that drove website traffic for viewers to learn more.
  • Culpeper: The MarCom Awards recognized BLD Marketing’s work on behalf of Culpeper Wood Preservers, a leading manufacturer of pressure-treated lumber, with another gold award. BLD commissioned a customer satisfaction study from a well-known and trusted industry analytics firm that polled independent lumberyards on top brands of treated lumber. The results of the study were overwhelmingly in favor of Culpeper and became the basis of a new integrated marketing campaign, “Clearly the Higher Grade,” which touted the results, gave an opportunity to download the entire study, and helped capture leads.
  • PPG Advanced Surface Technologies (AST): BLD Marketing earned its third gold award for its work on behalf of PPG AST for the naming and branding of a new automotive paint technology. The result was PPG STREAM™ paint films, a name selected for its multiple connotations that align with its impressive features and benefits. BLD also produced a complementary visual identity for the new brand: a sleek, S-shaped, multi-colored, stream-like form. The official product packaging now features this BLD-designed graphic.
  • OX Engineered Products: MarCom presented BLD Marketing with an honorable mention for its work on behalf of OX Engineered Products, a leading manufacturer of structural sheathing and thermal insulation products. The agency received this recognition for a campaign that positions OX products as solutions to ongoing labor shortages and inflation facing nearly all residential and commercial builders. The theme, “The OX Factor,” was brought to life through an impactful landing page, promotional video, and 3D visuals.
